# How to Remove a Preferred Service Provider (Priority List)
> To remove a service provider from your priority list of a skill category, follow the steps below!
Click **People**, then go to **Service Providers**.
Under **Categories & Prioritization**, expand the skill category where you need to remove a preferred service provider by clicking the icon across the category name.
From the list of prioritized service providers, locate the name of the service provider you need to remove. To remove a service provider from your Priority List, click on the **three dots** on the right side of the service provider name, then click **Remove From Priority List**.
In the box that will show at the top of your screen, click **OK** to confirm the changes you made.
And that's how you can remove a service provider from your priority list!
These steps will **ONLY** remove the service provider from the priority list of a skill category. If the same service provider is prioritized over other skills, they will remain prioritized. If you wish to remove the service provider from all categories, follow the steps in:
Remove a provider from all properties they serve.
On another note, there are situations when Property Manager would like to copy over company Service Provider prioritization settings to the portfolio or property level, but there are instances when they want to copy all company settings except for 1-2 skill categories. If they want to remove all the Service Providers in a skill category, it was very tedious to remove each Service Provider one by one.
Thanks to the continuous improvement that Latchel provide, the removal of all prioritized service provider from a skill category is now an easy job. Here's how:
Follow steps 1 to 4 from the instructions above. After expanding the list of service providers under the skill category, click on **Remove All from Priority List**.
A prompt will appear to confirm the change or request, click **OK**.
The result will show that no service provider is prioritized in this category.
