# Exporting Reports

> Within the Analytics page, there are several ways to export your data depending on the type of report you need. This help guide will walk you through how to export your reports.

### **Export Key Metrics**

Within each key metric tile, hidden options appear in the corner.

Click the **ellipsis** (<Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" />) then select **Export chart**. You can export the report by:

1. **Export Data:** This option allows you to save the file as a **CSV, CSV (Excel), or Google Sheets** file.
2. **Save as PNG:** Save your chart as an **image** on your computer.
3. **Copy Image to Clipboard:** If you do not want to save the image file, you can copy it to your clipboard and **paste it into the document** you are working on.

### **Export Data (CSV, CSV for Excel, Google Sheets)**

<Tip>
  **Key Benefits:**

  * Allows deeper analysis using spreadsheet tools (formulas, pivot tables, custom charts).
  * Makes it easy to share raw data with owners, leadership, or accounting teams.
  * Supports record-keeping and documentation outside of Latchel.
  * Enables combining Latchel data with other operational or financial datasets.
  * Useful for audits, reporting meetings, and portfolio reviews.

Click the **three dots** on the report you wish to export.

Then click **Export chart**. From the options that show up, click **Export data**.

Choose your preferred **file type**, then click **Export** to download the report.

<Warning>
  To export the file as **Google Sheets**, you will need to sign in to your Gmail account the first time.
</Warning>

### **Save as PNG**

<Tip>
  **Key Benefits:**

  * Quickly download a clean visual of your chart for presentations or reports.
  * Ideal for owner reports, performance decks, or internal summaries.
  * Preserves the exact visual format of your dashboard view.
  * No need to recreate charts manually in another tool.
</Tip>

Click the **three dots** on the report you wish to export.

Then click **Export chart**. From the options that show up, click **Save as PNG**.

Depending on your browser settings, the image may automatically download to your computer or prompt you to choose a location—click **Save** if prompted.

### **Copy Image to Clipboard**

  **Key Benefits:**

  * Fastest way to paste charts directly into emails, Slack, or documents.
  * Eliminates the need to download and manage image files.
  * Great for quick updates, team discussions, or executive summaries.
</Tip>

Click the **three dots** on the report you wish to export.

Then click **Export chart**. From the options that show up, click **Copy image to clipboard**.

After copying, you can paste the image directly into any document where it’s needed.
