# Self-Signup - Latchel Standard
> **Latchel's Starter** feature is a **self-service option** designed for property companies and managers. It offers a firsthand experience of how Latchel operates, particularly valuable for managers overseeing properties with fewer than 50 units. Having had this enriching experience, you are then ideally placed to make an informed decision about signing up completely with Latchel.
#### **How To Sign Up**
To create your account, navigate to the [Latchel-Signup](https://app.latchel.com/signup) page. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address after your successful signup that includes steps on how to schedule an onboarding call and how to access the portal.

**Will I be charged for the subscription after signing up?**
Charges on your card will only apply ***after the 30-day free trial*** is complete. You can also cancel at any time with no pain!

**How can I cancel the subscription if it's no longer needed?**
As mentioned, you can ***cancel the trial period at any time***! Just follow the simple steps below.
**Cancelling Your Subscription**
Access the **Account Settings**, and under the **Subscription** tab, a button exists, then hit **Cancel Free Trial**. This will automatically log you out of Latchel and confirm you won’t be charged.
