You don't need that extra step anymore. You can now **add a service provider right in the Create Work Order flow**, so the work order is ready to go the moment you submit it. 3. **Automatic Cleanup of Former Residents** > [accordion] Shoutout! > > Thanks to **Pam T Management** for your recent report about this! Latchel always moves residents from properties when we receive a move-out date from your property management system. Unfortunately, not all property management systems or move-out processes ensure we receive those move-out dates. This resulted in moved-out residents staying on the property for too long — and we were tired of former residents getting messages about a unit they've already moved out of. We've introduced **Resident Reconciliation**. Every Monday, Latchel checks your residents against your property management software and unlinks anyone your PMS no longer lists. **It's built to be cautious:** * A resident is removed only after they've been missing from **three weekly checks in a row** * Residents you added manually in Latchel are **never touched** * Anyone who reappears in your PMS is **relinked automatically** Want to see who was removed? The **Latchel MCP** has gained **27 new tools** in the past three weeks, and several existing tools have been improved. Highlights include: * **Your to-do list and notifications:** ask your AI assistant what's on your agenda, or pull up a notification along with the task, work order or conversation it's about * **Conversations (AI Messaging Beta):** see who on a work order can be messaged and what's already been said to them, and send a text to the resident, service provider or owner. It's a small change you'll notice on every work order! 2. **Global Search Shows Your Most Recent Work Orders First** > [!WARNING] > > **What was happening:** > > When you searched an address in the global search bar, older completed work orders could push an open work order out of the top results. > [!TIP] > > **What's fixed:** > > Global search now lists the most recently updated work orders first, so your active work is easier to find. Exact matches still appear ahead of partial ones. 3. **No More Duplicate Work Orders from Bids** > [!WARNING] > > **What was happening:** > > When a bid became a work order, Latchel could send that work order to your property management software twice. Depending on your integration and timing, this sometimes left a duplicate work order in your PMS. > [!TIP] > > **What's fixed:** > > Work orders created from bids now sync to your PMS just once, so you won't have duplicates to clean up. We've also added new safeguards that help us catch issues like this sooner. ### **What Should Latchel Build Next?
