Task titles can now be edited after a task has been created. This is useful when the scope or description of a task changes and you need the title to reflect the latest context.
Steps to Edit a Task Title
Open the Work Order and go to Activity. Navigate to the relevant work order, then click the Activity tab in the left sidebar. Make sure the Tasks tab is selected to view open tasks. Locate the task you want to update. At the bottom of the task card, click the Edit Task button.
The task edit form will open. The title field is the first input at the top of the form. Click into the title field, clear the existing text, and type the new title. Click the Save button at the bottom of the form. The task will immediately reflect the updated title.
Why This Matters
Task management is iterative — requirements shift, priorities change, and original task names often become outdated. Being able to rename tasks without deleting and recreating them keeps your work order history clean and your team aligned. Last modified on June 26, 2026
