New Features
- Resident Contact Info Now Stays in Sync With Your PMS
What’s New:We’re now syncing resident contact info for existing residents too — on every sync, across every PMS we integrate with.
- Both sources live side by side, labeled so you can always tell what came from your PMS and what was entered in Latchel
- Changes flow through on every sync: remove a number in your PMS and it comes off the resident in Latchel on the next pass
- Non-Maintenance Calls Now Route by Category — and Can Transfer Live
What’s New
- Category-based routing. Every account, new and existing, comes seeded with four basic categories (Leasing, Payments, Owner Inquiries, Service Provider Inquiries) plus a catch-all for anything that doesn’t match. Add as many of your own as you like — each one just needs a title and a short description
- After we ask the caller what they’re calling about, Latchel matches their answer against your category descriptions and sends the call to the destination you set for that category
- Live call forwarding. A brand-new destination type: instead of a webhook or an email, forward the live call straight to a phone number. You’ll get a notification either way, telling you whether the transfer connected or didn’t
Why This Matters:Leasing questions can go to your leasing line, rent questions to accounting, and the calls that need a real person can ring one — without your team working as a switchboard.
24/7 AI Virtual Receptionist (Non-Resident Call Intake)
Discover how Latchel’s AI receptionist handles calls from non-resident around the clock, ensuring no requests goes unanswered.
- Time Sheets Are Now in Your Analytics Reports — With the Odd Ones Flagged
- Every entry shows times in both the property’s time zone and UTC, so there’s no mental math when you manage across regions
- Meaningful gaps between true clock in/out and reported clock in/out are highlighted automatically
- So are the strange ones — an overnight clock-in that never closed out, for example
Why This MattersYou can catch a labor-hours or billing discrepancy while it’s still fresh, instead of reconstructing what happened at the end of the week.

Resolved Bugs
- Work Order Notifications Follow the Right Team After a Portfolio Move
What’s fixed:Individual and bulk property moves now include an explicit option to bring team assignments along with the move, so work order notifications go to the team that owns the portfolio the property actually sits in.
Special Announcements
- Split Work Orders Now Describe Their Own Issue
Shoutout!
Shoutout!
Shoutout to Propertywize and Scarpa for flagging this one!
What this means for you:
- Vendors can tell what they’ve been dispatched for at a glance, and your coordinators stop reading past irrelevant detail to find the real scope
- This applies to newly created split work orders — tickets created before this release keep the descriptions they already have
- Coming soon: the original work order in a split still carries the full, all-issues description. Tightening that one up is next on our list
